Nature = 3 Chi + 3 Heats + 4 Bodies + 3 Kingdoms
Master Cho Han-kyu, interpreted by Kim Chang, Founder of Korean Natural Farming (Janong)
Spoken in Korean. Translated to English and checked line by line.
Cho puts up his 'Natural Farming' title slide and asks what nature is: three chi, three heats, the bodies and three kingdoms; farming is heaven, earth and people working with them, and food is the gift. Then he recites the Lord's Prayer, tells how pastors scolded him and threw him out, and says 1 Corinthians 3:16–17 is why he farms. A voice from the room sums it up in English.
What they found
What does Cho mean by nature, and why does he farm?
Cho's slide deck opens on '자연농업' (J. Natural Farming Institute). He lists nature's parts from the floor, then spends most of this page on faith: the Lord's Prayer in Korean, an argument with pastors, and the verse that brought him to natural farming. The page ends on the slide '자연농업은 생명과 환경을 지켜나가는 농업이며, 회복의 농업입니다.'

- This page is philosophy and faith; there are no rates, dates or recipes.
- Cho names five bodies while saying 'four'; which four he means is not settled here.
- The Lord's Prayer recitation is partly garbled in the audio; the transcript gives the standard Korean wording he was reciting.
- The English summary at about 3254 s comes from someone in the room whose name is not said.
- In Cho's frame, fermentation heat stands beside the sun and the earth as one of nature's three heats.
- Microbes are a kingdom of nature in their own right, beside plants and animals.
- Farming is people working with sky, earth and living things, not over them; food is what that work gives.

Differs
The four bodies The CGNF basic copy lists four bodies: heaven, earth, air, object. Here Cho also names a microbe body (균체), five names for 'four bodies'.

39:34 All right, go on to the next slide. Yes, please go ahead. What is natural farming? Nature was three chi, three heats, four bodies and three kingdoms, wasn't it? So, what was natural farming? There is three chi. Three chi, three heats. Heat chi... three heats. Three chi: heat, air, water.
40:19 Then the three heats: heat of the sky, heat of the earth, heat of fermentation. So three heat: heat from the sky, heat from the ground, heat from the fermentation. And the four bodies: sky body, earth body. Four body: sky body. the soil body and the Sky body, earth body. Then the object body (물체). Water body... water.
41:04 Isn't this an object body (물체)? Our body, the papaya, is an object body. Isn't this the object body? Physical body, air body, micro-organism body, that's the four body. Then the air body (기체). Then the microbe body (균체). Microorganism body. Those are the four bodies. Plant kingdom, animal kingdom, microbe kingdom. So those four got all together, there is a plant kingdom,
41:52 and animal kingdom, and microorganism kingdom. So those: three chi, three heats, four bodies, three kingdoms. That is nature, we say. So all those, what he just said, That's the nature. But using all that, what heaven, earth and people make together is farming. So we, those nature and the human being all together, that became a natural farming. And the gift that comes from it is our food.
42:37 So there is a gift from that farming: it is our food. So food is God giving us our daily bread. This is the prayer the Lord taught us. So that is gift from your God, from the God, those food. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us our daily bread, and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us, and lead us not into temptation, for the kingdom and the power are yours forever. That is the prayer the Lord taught.
43:26 Lord's Prayer I cannot memorize all that Anyway if you look at the Bible There is a Lord's Prayer Look up So you need to try to live on that guidance with your life. If we live just like that, we go to heaven; but if we don't live that way, isn't there another place we go? If you don't, if you live that way, you're probably going to heaven. But if you don't, there's another place. So, all of you: the Bible is not something to memorize, the Bible is not something to understand, So, the Bible is not trying to understand, the Bible is just practicing.
44:19 You need to live, living daily. You need to practice in your life. So, one time in the church, the priest, he scolded me. I've been scolded, by pastors. So what I said was: You have to live a faith of daily life. How can you just do a faith of teaching? Don't just go through church life, isn't it right to live faith as daily life? That's what I told them. He told them, Why you are preaching life? Why don't you live your spiritual life and practice in your daily regular life?
45:17 And that's what he told them and they scolded him. So, do babies born in Hawaii also get a bruise on their buttocks? Is your baby has a blue mark on their butt? In Hawaii? Everyone? They say only Asian babies have it. That's why I'm saying this. What do they say in Korea? In Korea, when they... on their butt, there's a bruise mark. They say Samsin Halmoni [the birth grandmother spirit] hit the baby to make it hurry out, and that left the bruise.
46:03 Actually, that's the Mongolian spot, Mongolian people's spot. Only the oriental people has it. That's a baby. There's a grandma, when she hit the baby, to come out, she hit their butt. There's that story. That's how the bruise came, they say. That's what they say, the bruise. So what did I say back then about Samsin Halmoni? God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit:
46:52 those three Gods hit the baby to make it hurry out, and that's the bruise, I once said something like that. And they said, where does it say such a thing? Why would God hit us to hurry us out? It's Samsin Halmi who hits. But he explained to them, no, that's not, that's from the God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy Father, Holy Son, hit their butt, that's why they get the blue mark. Not the grandma. Then priest was scolding, you are not a true Christian. The pastors wouldn't [accept it].
47:43 So I said, is that so? Then when God made man, didn't He shape him from soil in God's own image and breathe life into him, and so he became a person? So I said to him, but didn't God use clay to make like his body, his image, and also he blow his breath in our nose and became a human being, isn't it? That's what he told them. That's what I said. And they said nothing. The pastor didn't say a word. So, when he told them the first, and they couldn't speak to him, couldn't say any answer, so he told them again,
48:24 So then I said something else: was Jesus born because of theology, or was theology made after Jesus was born? So is a Christian born before God or God, I mean, Jesus Christ came and then the Christian born. So do you understand what I'm saying? That's what he told the priest. Sorry. So he told the priest, is a Christian born first before God or the God born, I mean, God is, I mean, Christian is born before God or Christian is born after God. That's what he told as the priest.
49:30 Also they couldn't answer him. And they couldn't answer that. And then later they said it's blasphemy. So they told him, you are rude to God, something like that. Blasphemy? Blasphemy (모독). Blasphemy means lowering God's authority. Disrespect. You are disrespecting the God.
50:16 So I asked once more: are we God's children, or God's servants? Which came first, I asked: the children first, or the servants first? So are we children of God or are we children of the slave of God? He asked that question. Which one is first? So priest said, I cannot talk to you anymore and then he kicked him out. Then they said, 'This is a man you can't talk to,' and threw me out. So as I walked out, what did I say? 'What you pastors eat is also God's creation,' 'and what we farm and eat, what farmers eat, is God's grace too. It's a blessing.'
51:09 So what you consume, food, is a blessing of the God, I mean, to the priest. Also the farmer who brings all this food is also a blessing of the God. That's why he told, I mean, saying, and then walked out of the church. So he was laughing that the religion is before God, not after God. And as I walked out I said: do you only measure God by theology? God was above theology; God isn't below theology, is He?
51:59 Religion is born on... religion wasn't born before God. Religion is born after God. That's how he told them. So there I quoted 1 Corinthians chapter 3, verses 16 and 17. Verse 17... The Holy Spirit dwells in my body, so my body is the temple. So you need to take care of your church. If you don't take care of your church, your body, that's
52:52 your church. Actually your body is the church, not the building, okay? If you don't take care of your body well, your church will demolish. That's what he said. First Corinthians 3:16 and 17, it says your body is like God's temple. And if you don't take care of your body, you don't take care of God's temple. So you have to take good care of your body, just like you take good care of God's temple. So right there I got caught, and that's how I came to do natural farming.
53:39 In other words, the farm produce made by God's grace, as His gift, the proper food: I eat it and make my body healthy, so that God's Spirit dwells in me and I keep moving toward living a life like God's. So to take care of your body, you need to eat healthy food, so you can serve this God's blessing. Are you done? (Interpreter: Yes.) I think Master Cho is trying to emphasize why he started using this natural farming,
54:25 because he's read that gospel, specifically the First Corinthians 3:16 and 17 in the New Testament. he was very impressed what he tried to say is that when we try to take good care of our body we have to eat the right kind of food and the right kind of food is coming from the natural farming, which is given by God. so that's what he tried to say Hallelujah. Hallelujah! So natural farming is God's... [blessing]. So natural farming is God's blessing. Blessing.
55:18 In it, I, who was created (I am not the Creator), I, the created one, with love and hope, in obedience, give my loyalty: that is farming. So we have to be very loyal to what we do to God, and then we become a natural farmer. So I regard natural farming as God's work, and I try to be faithful to it. So he is trying to follow God's mission with the natural farming. Hallelujah!
56:07 So natural farming is farming that protects life and the environment, and it is farming of recovery. So, natural farming is life and the environment healthy, also is recovery farming, healing farming. So when we farm, it is because my body is God's temple, His house, ...and by making this body healthy, I want to give glory to God. So because our body is the church, so make our body healthy and then give glory to God.
